Pawsitive Vet Care Ltd is a mobile veterinary practice serving the communities of Coventry and Warwickshire.  They provide a much needed and appreciated compassionate and caring home visit service. https://pawsitivevetcare.co.uk/

In addition this mobile veterinary practice seeks to minimise its environmental impact seeking to “tread lightly on our planet to protect it for wildlife and future generations”.

In line with this policy our client tasked us with providing them with a new veterinary ambulance based upon an environmentally friendly electric van. For this task we selected the Nissan eNV200 Acenta as the vehicle providing the most satisfactory base for the new project.

This was to be the very first electric veterinary ambulance and from the start new had to make changes to our initial design ideas which have historically been based on diesel powered vehicles.  For this project we had to take into account the chassis configuration of an electric vehicle and location of the batteries and the slightly reduced load capacity.  That done we were able to quickly build a bespoke ambulance.

This contained a large double dog cage with stretcher, small animal carriers and plenty of storage facilities for the medical equipment and consumables needed on board. We also installed CCTV cameras linked to a split screen on the passenger side of the dash board to enable a nurse to monitor patients during transit.

Vehicle graphics were applied to comply with the mobile veterinary practice corporate identity.
